Tomáš Zárecký has been registered in the list of advocates of the Slovak Bar since 1 January 2005. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava. He is a Slovak and Italian citizen, fluent in English and Italian.
In the years from 2005 to 2009, inclusive, he was in the position of a partner in the law firm Čechová & Partners, where he was also responsible for the management of its Brussels branch in the years 2005 and 2006.
Tomáš Zárecký is a recognised expert in the field of real estate law to which he is particularly dedicated. He has further gained significant experience in the area of PPP projects, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial contracts and banking and financial law. He regularly renders legal advice to domestic and foreign investors in the field of real estate as well as to private equity funds, developers, banks and other financial institutions, assets managers and facility managers and to other clients while he complexly deals with all aspects of real estate transactions. He is frequently active in multidisciplinary teams together with real estate consultants, projects managers, architects, engineers and other professionals. Particular areas of his involvement include amongst other performance of due diligence, advice in connection with acquisition and sale of real estate, commercial leases, contracts on works, facility management agreements as well as dealing with legal aspects of territorial and construction proceedings.
In the field of mergers and acquisitions Tomáš provided legal advice at a number of transactions to various global companies active in the real estate sector, banking sector, automotive, pharmaceutical and food processing industry, information technologies and energy, assessing especially transaction and corporate issues.
